• Money is a Tool Part 1

There are many different ideas about money and how it's used. I'd like you to think of money in the sense of a tool... A tool that the Lord has allowed you to control. How you control it is your choice, my advice:

    1) Ask God for Wisdom to Handle Money

In James 1:5 it says if any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. The most important step to handling money is asking for wisdom from above and believing God will give it to you in fact, if you believe... all things are possible to him who believes is Mark 9:23.

You may be saying, okay I asked... now what? I realize math may not be your favorite subject but when it comes to money, you don't need math you need arithmetic (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and fractions/percentages). Don't let it intimidate you! Start from a place that is comfortable and grow from there by: reading books about money, taking a class such as Financial Peace, or obtaining a financial coach. Your Hard work multiplied by God can take you to the next level.

    2) Stop Believing You're "Bad" With Money

Take another look at Mark 9:23. If you believe you are bad with money than how can you every become good with it? What you believe and say is very powerful! Don't take it lightly! You are not bad with money you may have made some mistakes or you don't have the knowledge yet! You'll get there, but you have to change your thinking.

    3) Money is Important

We know our money is important but remember it is just a tool. How you use the tool is important too. Check out the video below and let me know what you think. Be blessed and be on the look out for Part 2 next week!
